My mister cool dude!

Happy Birthday Matthew!!

Happy Birthday Matthew!!

Yesterday My baby turned 4 yrs old!! It is hard to believe he is growing up so fast.

We had a nice party tonight at my parents house. Matthew got some of his favorite things, like several Lightning McQueen/Cars toys. Plus the grandparents got him a scooter that he will surely enjoy. The great grandmothers gave him money, and what kids doesn't like a bit of the green?

Two outta three ain't bad.

Two outta three ain't bad.

Usually that is a good thing. Except when it means that two outta my three kids are sick. They started off with colds. One developed a raging ear infection (no fever) and the other a fever (no ear infection).

A.J. is the one with the ear infection. He can get really bad infections and he will never even make a peep about it. Luckily he hasn't had but only a few, that I know of anyway. Like I said, for him I guess they don't hurt or something because you would honestly never know he had one. Knowing this when he said his ear hurt a "tiny" bit I scheduled him a Dr appt to find out what was going on for sure. Glad I did. I only wish my years and years of suffering through them as a child were the kind that didn't hurt.

Of course I give them medicine and you would never know they were sick at all. When kids are sick why can't they be like us? Retreat to the bedroom and hide out (ok, as if a mom ever had that option, but that is what our husbands do right? Mine does anyway).

And although A.J. was sick a couple days before Matthew, wouldn't you know Matthew would get sick just after his first two days of preschool lol. Coincidence? Perhaps. I am sure A.J. got his cold from school anyway and Matthew was bound to get it from him eventually.

Right now Matthew is crashed out, and A.J. is hopped up on Motrin like a mouse on speed.

It is going to be a lovely weekend I am sure.

Matthew starts school tomorrow

Matthew starts school tomorrow

He is finally starting preschool. Yay!!! Matthew has speech issues and we started his IEP (Individualized Education Plan) months ago. But between every holiday between October and now it all takes time. He has almost the exact same speech issues as A.J. Funny thing is, when he first started talking he talked better then A.J. So maybe he just picked up A.J.'s speech problem from listening to him? The rest of us speak fine so why not pick up ours instead? No matter now.

I do worry about Matthew going to school. He is a bit of a (dare I say it), a brat? He picks on his older brothers and he is the instigator of many things around here. I worry he won't listen to his teacher and he has a tendency for anger issues. I am probably just worrying that he will be my first kid kicked out of preschool. He already knows the teacher because A.J. goes there and I have given her plenty of warning about Matthew (LOL). They are going to be in separate classes too. I think if Matthew was ever in the same class as A.J. then A.J. would insist on never going back. So one will be going a.m. and one p.m. It will only be till mid May or so because they get out for summer early here but here is hoping all goes well for my little bugger.

Digital scrapbooking

Digital scrapbooking

I am trying my hand of a bit of digital scrapbooking. I am in the process of learning my new Photo Shop Elements 6 program. Also perhaps thinking up some good "hand made" Christmas presents for the family.

This layout is nothing special, and pretty plain, but I was following a tutorial and this is what resulted.

The pic is of Matthew at the Phoenix zoo last summer. They had a hollow tree you could put your head through.

Scrapbooking for/with three boys isn't easy. I find these beautiful pink (any girly color) layouts and so want to use them but I doubt my boys would appreciate that lol.

I also need to start taking more pics of the boys. Can't do anything without some great and "new" pics. They just give me such a hard time about me taking their pics that most days it just isn't worth trying.

This is fun!!

This is fun!!

I am having a great time learning my design program. And I get to do my favorite thing, spend all day on the computer.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
What a day

What a day

Nothing exciting happened but the kids were kinda pushing me over the edge today. They let the dog out this morning. Meaning they opened the door and the dog left on a dead run. Here I am first thing in the morning, in my night clothes and I need to go and chase down the dog. With the kids no less cause I can't just leave them alone. So we walk around the RV park and don't see the stupid dog. We head back to the RV and I figure I will get the van and drive around. Well, stupid dog was waiting for us. His name is Romeo but stupid seemed to fit him better today.

In the afternoon the boys were out riding their bikes. Now what possessed Matthew to grab a huge rock and drop it on A.J.'s head I don't know but he did it. A.J. is crying and screaming and Matthew is acting like everything is fine in the world today. That's my Matthew.

Also I think I have become a bit obsessed. I was trying all day to make my 2 column template into a 3 column template. Keep in mind I know nothing about HTML or any kind of computer codes. I was going off directions from other websites. I almost had it a few times, but alas you can see my template is still 2 column. Maybe I'll figure it out someday but today is not that day.

My crazy kids

My crazy kids

I have 3 kids, boys no less. They couldn't be more different from one another if they tried.

First is Alexander (Alex), he is 13 and well in to the teen attitude. He is smart, funny, creative and his own person. He is really good at video games. I can buy him one and in a few days he has already beat it and wants to move on to another. He also loves to invent and make videos, which he is very good at. He does these amazing stop motion videos. He is very shy, however at home he is as loud as can be. He is always making some sort of noise and honestly it just drives me insane. He has been to many schools cause we move so much so he has a hard time making friends. He absolutely does not want to come to Vegas and live in an RV (he is FL visiting his dad right now, home in 3 days Yay!!). We have lived here before but he was about 3yrs old at the time so he doesn't remember it. I am trying so hard to help him grow in to a good man but he likes to resist anything I say, as all teenagers do.

Next is my little man Andrew (A.J.). He is 4 yrs (5 in Sept) and just a little lover, really friendly and a talker. Boy does he love to talk. He talks non stop all day everyday about anything and everything. He likes to build things out of whatever he can get his hands on. He loves robots and loves to draw things, like robots and invent games on paper. Maybe it is because he is the middle child but he is usually at the mercy of his older and younger brothers A.J. is my dh's first son as Alex is from my ex dh. Dh expects him to be a certain way and wants him in sports and such but right now I just don't see A.J. getting into that. He is more brain then brawn.
Last but certainally not least is Matthew. He is 3, and a total daddy's boy. He is my little sociopath. This boy can lie straight to your face and not blink. He is quite the terror. He picks on A.J. like he was born to do it and A.J. is way to polite to fight back. One minute he is the sweetest little boy, giving you kisses and hugs and before you know it he is behind your back doing something destructive. He is stealth too. Wow, the things he does you will never know about till it is done. Matthew is my little cutie and has that gleam in his eye. Just don't turn your back on him for a second. He can con the best of them with his look of "I am so innocent".
I love all my boys and their vast personalities. Each one challenges me in a new way every single day.
