Patience Please....
Ahh, I have been over playing in Wordpress land. Shhhh, am I allowed to talk about this in Blogspot land?? Oh well, too bad. So I have gotten neck deep into WP and to my surprise I do believe I have it figured out. Not totally, but I have customized a few templates and have even learned a few new things I always wondered how to do. Now I can start designing for WP too!! Which is great because I know a lot of blogspot bloggers are switching to WP.
My hardest part is getting my blog to look how I want. Over in WP I don't want the same design as here. I got the header the way I like but I am just stumped on how I want the background and template to look. I have changed things around a gazillion times and so far nothing has clicked. I guess I have plenty of time to tinker with it before I decide to move on over.

Where am I?
Cause it looks as though I haven't blogged since Sunday! I usually get my inspiration (if that is what you want to call it) for my posts just as I lay down at night to go to sleep. You know that time when your mind is racing through all the days events? Of course by then I am either too tired to get up and blog, or too lazy to get a pen and paper to write down my thoughts.
I need to keep a little notebook in my purse or by my computer for when something interesting or otherwise note worthy takes pace so I can remember to blog about it. Cause ya know, the minute I sit down here at my computer every thought in my head just leaps right out in to the land of the unknown.
Luckily tomorrow is wordless Wednesday and I won't have to say a thing!! I think I need a meme for every day of the week.

GIMP
That would be the GNU image manipulation program. It is a free graphics/photo program I am trying to learn (for all of one day so far lol). I figure if I can master this "maybe" dh will buy me Photo Shop someday.
My mom uses Paint Shop Pro, I think I really should of paid attention when she was using that and learned a thing or two. But then again she was a graphics artist in her former life.
So far I am not getting very far with it. Either I am stupid or just not far enough in to "get" how to do it. I would like to start/learn how to do web page/blog designs and such. Also learn code and everything that goes along with it. I feel like I am not understanding the online tutorial for the program however.
There are a few books at the book store I can get but I am not sure if they would tell or explain more then the online tutorial. I may go and look and see what they have and how it compares to what I have read so far online. Besides it is hard reading the online tutorial and switching from that to the GIMP program and back and forth.
Wish me luck!!
