Ahh,  I have been over playing in Wordpress land.  Shhhh, am I allowed to talk about this in Blogspot land??  Oh well, too bad.  So I have gotten neck deep into WP and to my surprise I do believe I have it figured out.  Not totally, but I have customized a few templates and have even learned a few new things I always wondered how to do.  Now I can start designing for WP too!!   Which is great because I know a lot of blogspot bloggers are switching to WP.

My hardest part is getting my blog to look how I want.  Over in WP I don't want the same design as here.  I got the header the way I like but I am just stumped on how I want the background and template to look.  I have changed things around a gazillion times and so far nothing has clicked.  I guess I have plenty of time to tinker with it before I decide to move on over.

Busy as a bee lol. School starts next week, finally. My kids have yet to be registered but at least now I know when I can register them. A.J.(K) and Matthew (pre-K) are going to be registered Monday morning. And how cool is this? A.J. will have all day Kindergarten. Matthew will still be a half day but that will give me at least 3 hours a day all to myself. Mind you, I really do love my kids, but time alone is nice too. Also I am not one of those who get all emotional over my kids starting school. It just isn't me. As for Alex, who will be starting high school has to wait till the 3rd day of school to get registered by appointment. I do find it a bummer he won't be able to start with everyone else. I just think by not attending class until the 3rd or 4th day of school it will make him stand out more as "the new kid".

I have also been crazy busy doing designs (yeah, that is a good thing though). I am done with everything I had going on with them. Just a few things I need to help people out with to get new sites/blogs up and running. I am slowly getting pics loaded into my "gallery"

Right now it is pouring ran and the kids are nowhere to be found (inside where I am). Needless to say they are out getting wet. Do you think I should lock them out so they can't make a wet mess of the RV? (hehe) Don't freak, I would never really do that.

Did you know I have a younger sister? Well she has a blog and she is a fairly new blogger. She has been making these really cute burp cloths since she has a baby due in about 20 days (my first and only niece, I am sooo excited). Go check her out and say hi. I bet she would be thrilled.

Ya know what's cool about designing blogs? I can give myself a new design whenever I want. I get bored easily and sometimes just need a change in scenery. Hope you like the new look.

That is what I have been. Last week was filled with appointments for the kids (school(for A.J.'s and Matthew's speech), art class, touring the high school). Dh left for Colorado on Tuesday. Then my sister headed to Michigan on Friday. I am still in the process of moving my things into the master bedroom. Everyone left me WHAaaaaaHH

I had a couple of Designs to do this weekend. Even though I do them on the computer I find that the designing is all I do. All my blogging falls to the wayside. Bad me!

The first design I did was for Melinda at Look What Mom Found I had something happen when designing hers that had never happened to me before. When the margins looked good in FireFox, they were totally off in Explorer and visa versa. Now I have NEVER had an issue with this before and it is totally frustrating me to no end. I am wondering if it is a FireFox issue seeing as since I got my new laptop I downloaded the latest version of it and prior to that it was not an issue.

I also did another design but that is not installed yet so I will wait to show you that one.

HA! and if you haven't noticed, I redid my blog a bit. I haven't decided what I think about it yet. It does have a sleeker look to it. I just hate change lol.

On my blog that is. Well more like presents then decorations but it looks like Christmas.

I love seeing presents under the tree with all the pretty paper and ribbons. Christmas is my favorite time of year. This year though I am so not ready for it. Where did the year go???? I can't even imagine that so soon it will be 2009.

How many days has it been since I posted?? Too many I think. It must be bad if my life is so freaking boring I can't think of a single thing to post about.

I could post about how I am ready to kill my 13 yr old son. Talk about attitude!! OMG, I just can't take it anymore. He thinks he is the boss of this house and no matter what I do he is just a constant BUTT!!! So, if you ever hear my name on the 11 o'clock news, you'll know why.

In design news I totally figured out how to customize/design a WordPress blog Yay me!! I still have a lot to learn but if someone wanted a design for a standard 2/3 column template I could do it. I feel it helped that I learned blogger first. WP is so weird.....

I apologize to the 2 or 3 people who happen to pass by my blog and find no new posts. I will try to be better. :)

So, I have started designing blogs, as regulars here can attest to cause I bombard them on our message board with my designs (sorry). It is just I crave input cause I lack a certain amount of self confidence to think that just maybe I am some what decent at this design stuff.

Now it is time to design the blog for my design site. I don't have a name for my design "business" yet. Any suggestions are welcome. Kinda need to have the name picked so I can get the feel of what design I want to do. I also need to figure out how to make a navigation bar now and add it to the site. I have seen tutorials on how to do them so it should be semi okay to do. Of course I want to design my navigation buttons and figure that aspect out and "load" them into the generic bar that I make (I think any way).

Now all I need is a new computer for all this. When I got my laptop I was just a internet surfer and hung out on message boards. I have a 101 GB hard drive and I have like 13 GB free space left. Yikes!!! Yep, time to get a new computer!!

Hint, hint, hope dh reads this. He has the link, but I don't know if he ever checks here. lol
