All is I know is they are from Sweden and this is an awesome song. You need to give this a listen.

I was just hanging out on YouTube looking through music I like from "back in the day" and believe me, at times it feels like it was only yesterday. Until I do the math that is. Also I have never put a video in my blog so it was a good excuse to share with you two songs from way back that to me are timeless and I could listen to them over and over for years to come.

ICEHOUSE - No Promises

I love music!! I am not as nearly obsessed with it as I was in the 80's, but then who is? Back then I could name every song ever made, within the genre of my liking that is. Now days I still love my music but am lucky to know who sings anything. For that I rely on my XM radio cause I get all that info from them.

There are two groups that I really like. The first group is Coldplay.

I have adored their music since their first single "yellow" came out in 2000. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite song from them because I like so many of them. Their latest album is Viva la Vida. I do not care for the first release from this Album. Although I haven't heard any other songs off it, it is said this album is unlike the other three they put out. It is still up in the air if I will embrace their new sound or not. I'll let ya know. Just to throw this out there, Coldplay will be here in Phoenix on the 26th of Nov and I am not going!! Not that I don't want to because I really, really do.....

Another group I love is Keane.

Honestly, the first I heard of this group was because they had a song on Grey's Anatomy called "Somewhere only We know". They had an album come out in October of this year but I have yet to hear any songs from it. My favorite song from them is "A Bad Dream". I can just lose myself in the lyrics and melody. To me the song just reaches down to my soul. I love songs that do that.

Maybe next time I will dig up some great 80's music/groups I LOVED.
