Whoo hoo!!!! and then some. I am one happy camper (so to speak lol).



We are talking full keyboard, 17" screen, better graphics card, and much more memory and storage then my old one. The 38 reviews on Bestbuy were excellent also. The keyboard/case is in a bronze/chrome color instead of the usual black/silver of most laptops and looks cool.

This is what I had wanted for Christmas but dh said no way. He should've just gotten it for me rather then the super expensive video camera he bought for himself. I am so over that.....now lol.

I have blog designs to do and I am hoping I can see a big difference in my graphics and the whole processor speed with doing it. My other laptop was so, so, so slow using my Photoshop Elements.

How many days has it been since I posted?? Too many I think. It must be bad if my life is so freaking boring I can't think of a single thing to post about.

I could post about how I am ready to kill my 13 yr old son. Talk about attitude!! OMG, I just can't take it anymore. He thinks he is the boss of this house and no matter what I do he is just a constant BUTT!!! So, if you ever hear my name on the 11 o'clock news, you'll know why.

In design news I totally figured out how to customize/design a WordPress blog Yay me!! I still have a lot to learn but if someone wanted a design for a standard 2/3 column template I could do it. I feel it helped that I learned blogger first. WP is so weird.....

I apologize to the 2 or 3 people who happen to pass by my blog and find no new posts. I will try to be better. :)

I got my design website up today!! But it isn't the design of the website that excites me the most (although it should since that is what the site is all about). But by making this site I learned so, so much!

I learned how to put a "contact me" page where people can contact me from my blog itself (as opposed to copying and pasting my e-mail address to their e-mail).

Also a shout out to Sarah from http://angelinamiabambina.blogspot.com. She had some questions about what was capable in blogger concerning selling things (she has an Etsy store). So with her questions and a little nudge I figured out how to put an "add to cart" button on my blog. Now people don't need to have paypal to pay for their designs. I think that is very cool.

So now I am very tired and I think I have carpal tunnel from all the typing I have been doing lately lol.

I was at my mom's house tonight and I was showing her and my aunt my designs. I have a couple headers done as a PNG files so as to have the transparent background. So when there was a cut out part you could see the background behind it. That is also how I did my sidebar tags (ie dashboard, grab my button etc...)

On my mom's computer anything that was a PNG file didn't have the transparent background. Instead the transparent part was a light gray color so you couldn't see through it. Which of course made the design we were looking at not like I had intended it to be viewed.

It looks fine on my computer and fine on my sister's two computers and my grandma's computer. But then I wondered if some of my designs look wrong on other peoples computers also, or was it just my moms that it looked funny?

That has been me lately. I feel really bad about no posting lately. If fact I have had things to post about but since I type so slow, that some nights when I am tired it's just not worth the energy. Also I have been slacking in my comments on other peoples blogs too. I think I need a few more hours in the day. Or less kids lol!

Update on dh. Well a few weeks ago he went to from Vegas to Washington. He worked about a week and a half at one job and requested a voluntary layoff to get the job he really wanted. That job didn't come through the way he wanted so he up and left to go to Texas. He did manage to come home for about 18 hours on his way to Texas so that was nice. He got there today and starts work tomorrow, luckily. He will be working 10 hrs a day 7 days a week so he will be busy. I failed to ask him how long this job will last. Not longer then Christmas, that I am sure.

I have doing my blog designing. So much so that I haven't even had time to do a design site for me. But that is okay and there is no complaining here. I love that people like my designs and I am still amazed lol.

I have even managed to be nominated for 2 blog awards this week!! I don't have the second one up yet so I will have to get to that tomorrow.
